I am so excited that you're here! This is where I share my latest sessions, personal photos, and funny life stories. You'll quickly hear about my obsessive cleaning habits, my adorable pup, and probably a little something about fruit pizza (only the best food ever created). So grab a drink (something iced for me... yes, even in the winter), and scroll through the archives!

The One With The Greatest Weather Wednesday Wrap Up | Vol. 67

It is the end of February and it’s been in the 60’s and 70’s this past week! It makes me so happy. Virginia really hasn’t had much of a brutal winter this year. We haven’t even gotten one snow that amounted to anything! Of course, now that I say that we’ll probably get a bunch of snow dumped on us, but I am reeeeeeally hoping that doesn’t happen. I am happy for it to stay in the 70’s for a long time!

The end of last week was a hard one for me. On Friday morning, I waved goodbye as Hannah drove off to start her new life in Washington! I hadn’t cried about her move at all, but it finally hit me the night before she left, and I was pretty much a mess all night and the rest of the next morning ;) Of course, I still miss her, but it has gotten so much easier! We’ve already called each other, FaceTimed (while I was driving and shopping in Target… because why not?), and sent countless texts. She is already so in love with Washington, and I’m SO happy for her!! I can’t wait to go out and visit it myself ;)

At the end of January I got fitted for a pair of custom figure skates, and they are coming in next Tuesday! I can’t wait to break them in. I’m honestly a little nervous about them, because they’re custom skates, but I am praying that they’ll turn out well! They are going to be SO pretty.

The weather on Saturday was amazing too, so I got together with some of my friends for a campfire. It was so much fun, and the perfect distraction from Hannah leaving the day before ;) I also almost crashed Josh’s drone into a bunch of little pieces, but somehow it was magically spared… hahaha. This just goes to show you that I should definitely stick to photography where I can hold the camera with two hands.

While wedding season doesn’t technically start for me until April, my next wedding is actually on Sunday! I can’t wait to celebrate with Benji & Alicia… They are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and their wedding is going to be amazing!

Some of you know that for the last 3 years we’ve been trying to find a new house to move into, so that my grandparents can come live with us. I won’t say too much, because I’m still a little gun shy about wonderful houses slipping through our fingers, but guys. I think we found it. The perfect house. And we’re going to go look at it again today – I was so excited I could hardly sleep last night. And I love sleep, so you know I must be pretty excited. Here’s to hoping and praying that this is the house that finally works out!!

Have a wonderful week, everyone!
