The One Where We’re All Together Again Wednesday Wrap Up | Vol. 72

Kate came home last Thursday, and we spent the weekend exploring Richmond, watching movies, visiting friends, going to see our new house, and making lots of new memories. Monday morning we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, and we were saying how we couldn’t remember the last time just the 6 of us (no husbands or boyfriends – except dad :) had gone out for breakfast together. It has to have been at least since Kate moved to Florida, which was 3 years ago! How crazy is that??

There is just nothing I love more than spending time with my family. They are the greatest people on earth <3 After Kate flew in on Thursday, us four girls went and saw Beauty & The Beast. We got a large bucket of popcorn (and refilled it before the movie even started… no shame), and spent the entire half hour before the movie making jokes and laughing until our stomachs hurt. My sisters are my best friends, and I love them!!

Less than a week ago, I made the blog post about how we’re moving! You know what’s really crazy? That same day my parents got a contract on our house! So now it’s all official – we’re really moving, and our house is sold! It was never even officially on the market, but in less than 2 days, it got snatched up. We are so thankful!

Because I’m definitely a little bit of a crazy person, I have already bought a kayak for the new house. But hey, if I’m going to be living a few yards from the river, I’m gonna need to kayak, right?? It’s being delivered today, and I’m most likely going to take a quick peek at it, and then stick it in the trailer in our backyard. That trailer is quickly filling up with moving things! Now I’m just hoping and praying I don’t see any snakes, because I would probably pass out on the spot. Then I’d be like Anne of Green Gables, just floating down the river.

I had been doing low carb for about a week before Kate came home, but then it was just too difficult while she was here. I mean, first that popcorn… And then cheeseburgers and ice cream and all kinds of tortilla chips. So I’m starting it back up again today, which means I need to go grocery shopping if I have any hopes of surviving. It’ll be a busy day, but that’s just the way I like it <3 Have a great week!!

(Also I’m going to leave you with this mouthwatering picture of a Greg Brady burger – cheeseburger with macaroni & cheese + Martin’s potato chips. You’re welcome.)
