I am so excited that you're here! This is where I share my latest sessions, personal photos, and funny life stories. You'll quickly hear about my obsessive cleaning habits, my adorable pup, and probably a little something about fruit pizza (only the best food ever created). So grab a drink (something iced for me... yes, even in the winter), and scroll through the archives!
It’s been a while since I posted photos of our old home, and I promised that I would show you the new house once we were all moved in! It’s been finished for a while now, so it turns out that actually translates to “once we’re moved in and I’m not swamped with wedding season” hahaha.
I shared the photos of my basement apartment back in July, and now it’s time for the rest of the house! It is so beautiful, and honestly I am just so thrilled that mom and dad have this home. It’s ridiculous how perfect it is for them! And just wait until you see the river views <3 <3 <3
Honestly I am really glad to have this post up… it’s been in the back of my mind for the longest time! Thankfully, the house is pretty much always spotless, so it didn’t take long to get these pictures, but it seemed pretty daunting in my head! Again, I am definitely not a real estate photographer, but I TRIED. ;)
The front door and garage door used to be a dark brown, but dad painted it a beautiful blue! It pops perfectly on the house.
The walkway to my apartment!
Chris has worked so hard getting our backyard all cleaned up! It looks SO much better now!! A few weekends ago we burned the piles he had made, and it freed up so much space!
These branches in the river are actually the biggest blessing, because it allows us to hear the river rushing from the house! It sounds amazing.
Yes, I took all these pictures in my slippers, hahaha.
To the left is my grandparents side of the house!
These windows are the greatest part of the house!! What an incredible view.
This was the very first thing mom bought for the house once we knew we were moving. She knew exactly where she wanted to hang it (it’s double-sided), and it fits perfectly!
Joelle has her own craft room set up in the mud room!
Both my parents and my grandparents have access to this adorable porch! Lesson 1 about this house: there are approximately 1,000,000 porches.
Sitting in the living room and watching all the birds is surprisingly fun. Am I turning into an old lady?
Ahhhhh! I could look at this view forever!
See? Another porch!
Mom and dad’s personal porch, right off their master bedroom!
It’s definitely dizzying looking down from the third floor!
It’s only been 4 months, but it’s been so wonderful living here! We are so thankful <3
