I am so excited that you're here! This is where I share my latest sessions, personal photos, and funny life stories. You'll quickly hear about my obsessive cleaning habits, my adorable pup, and probably a little something about fruit pizza (only the best food ever created). So grab a drink (something iced for me... yes, even in the winter), and scroll through the archives!
This is such a special post for me! I can’t believe my best friend is married! Some of you may remember my post last year about Hannah leaving for Washington. She left to go be with her farmer, Andy, and see what a not-long-distance-anymore relationship with him would be! It must have worked out pretty well, because on Saturday they got married! I wanted to share what Hannah wrote about their relationship in her questionnaire for me:
“Andy and I met 5 years ago on FarmersOnly.com. It was the end of February when we started talking. 4 months later, Andy flew to Virginia to meet me and my family. The next month I flew out to Washington to meet his family. I definitely liked him but it was just not the right timing. I was in school and he had started his business. So we stayed close friends. Then a few years later we met up again and I realized I still liked him. Started praying for him and that God would bring us together if it was meant to be. In 2016, I took a cross country road trip and visited him and his family for a few days when we realized we still cared for each other. In November we began dating and in February of 2017 I moved to Pasco, WA. A year later, Andy proposed to me in his truck overlooking the city with a family heirloom ring. I love Andy because he is so genuine, kind, and hard working. He loves to laugh and have a good time. But most importantly, he knows and loves the Lord and longs to live for Him right beside me. I love him so much! I know that our wedding day will be super special not because of all the things that we’re doing, but because by the end of the day I get to call him my husband and nothing could be better than that.”
Their wedding day combined Hannah’s love of aviation, and Andy’s farming. They had so many sweet and personal touches, and I know that Hannah’s mom and sister (among many others) worked so hard to make it exactly what she wanted! I can’t imagine planning a wedding across the country! :)
Congratulations, Andy & Hannah! I wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness.
So fun to see Hannah’s dream bouquet come to life… This is exactly what she described wanting, back when neither of us had any potential grooms ;)
