I am so excited that you're here! This is where I share my latest sessions, personal photos, and funny life stories. You'll quickly hear about my obsessive cleaning habits, my adorable pup, and probably a little something about fruit pizza (only the best food ever created). So grab a drink (something iced for me... yes, even in the winter), and scroll through the archives!
It had been a little while since I’d babysat Olivia, and so I thought it’d be fun to spend the evening together! Luckily for me, she didn’t have any plans for the next evening, and so Joelle and I picked her up last Friday for some park time.
The problem with taking a little kid to the park, is they squeeze into the tightest little places, and you’re forced to follow them, lest you lose them forever to the twisty pathways of the playground. It’s so much easier when she’s confined to a swing ;)
After we played for a while (and Joelle and Emily were sufficiently wore out), we got some dinner at Dairy Queen. This child though… All she wanted for dinner was a cup of crushed ice! So that’s what she got. And because I’m not a terrible babysitter, I made her eat a chicken strip and some fries too. Who ever heard of having to make a child eat chicken and fries??
She also really wanted some ice cream, which is why I made her eat some dinner ;) So after Dairy Queen, we went to Sweet Frog for froyo. I let her pile on as many toppings as she wanted (and she even poured her own sprinkles). Which she then proceeded to take two bites of and say she was finished. Kids. What can you do.
She was SO excited when we picked her up!!
We tried to eat outside, but clearly the wind was affecting her ice-eating abilities.
Pure joy before digging into exactly two spoonfuls of sugar.
I can’t believe how big she is! I’ve known her since she was just a few months old, and she’s grown into such a little lady. I mean, come on, look how tiny she was!! This wasn’t even from the beginning of when I started watching her. It’s crazy how fast time flies!
